Our strength is in the skills and contributions of time and talents that our members bring.
The TWC is the sum of all our volunteer activities.
Please join us on volunteer days (TBA) throughout the season to meet other volunteers, discuss how you can contribute to the club and enjoy a BBQ.
All members are encouraged to identify the area in which they could contribute and to let us know what your skills and interests are, so that we can bring you together with other volunteers to form committees and develop work plans in each area for the upcoming season.
Following are the general areas in which volunteers are needed. Please identify at least one in which you can help. Every member's help is valued, so if you have an idea for something that is not listed, please let us know. Some volunteer jobs take an hour, others may require more time. How much time you contribute is entirely up to you. Whether you can spare an hour or two every once in a while, or want to work on something over the season, our members contributions make TWC the outstanding organization it is.
Committee Emails
Board Development: The TWC Board of Directors is elected anually from our membership, at our fall annual meeting. If you are interested in being on the board, or helping recruit or train board members, or develop board materials, click here to volunteer.
Our aim is to develop a board training manual, and to review and revise our By-Laws. If you can help with Board training, or By-Law revision, click here to volunteer.
Grounds: We need many volunteers to keep our property and grounds looking park like as well as clean and safe for our members and others. Click here to volunteer.
Grounds and Club House Tidy Up: Are you up early? We've got the spot for you. We need 2-3 people for each weekend day of the summer in the early morning (8:00 or even earlier) to volunteer for approximately half an hour, to make sure garbage is cleaned up, the clubhouse is swept and tidied and no rave debris is left - (should there be any raves this summer).
A schedule for this is set out below. If your time doesn't allow for more, please sign up for your minimum half hour contribution to the club. This is a good opportunity for new members to volunteer and to get to know other club members by working together and will ensure that our clubhouse and grounds are clean every weekend. Grounds keeping: Do you like to come and watch the lake even when there's no wind? We need volunteers to water and look after our lawn or to help with other similar tasks. Click here to volunteer.
