Rules:

Current RRS with CYA prescriptions, the class rules, and the Sailing Instructions which will govern in the event of a conflict.  Appendix B (sailboard) will apply.

Category A event.

Classes:

Open Raceboard  (windsurfer/sailboard)

Eligibility:

"All" -  we can help if you want OSA membership or official sail numbers.

Registration/Sailing Instructions:

Registration at Richardsons beach on Saturday morning at 9am .

 

Sailing Instructions can be viewed on our website, or a paper copy may be available at registration. 

 

Fee:

$60  for Saturday and Sunday - including racing and lunches. 

(or pre-register $175 for the 5 weekend OSA series) 

 

Skippers' Meeting:

1000 hrs - Saturday 

First Saturday Race:

1100 hrs - Saturday 

First Sunday Race:

1000 hrs - Sunday

 

Series Format:

A maximum of  9 races are scheduled. 

1 or more races constitute a series.                

1 drop with 5 or more races.

 

Scoring:

Low Point Scoring System (RRS Appendix A).

Prizes:

OSA Medallions for the top three finishers in each of male, female, youth, master, and overall categories (must be five racers to make a category - if smaller then first medal only).

Note:

The 2005 OSA circuit classes (sail size categories) will be :

 -  Classic  Raceboard  (ie: max 7.5m sail including IMCO and traditional raceboard class)

 -  Revised Raceboard (ie: max 9.5m sail including IMCO, old raceboard class, prodigy and new hybrids, etc)

 -  Open (ie: any sail including 12.5m sail;  this includes all above, and raceboard unlimited, and "Formula")

 

The OSA Raceboard Cup may have two names as overall winners (7.5 and 9.5).

The "Classic  Raceboard  (max 7.5m)" OSA Cup winner will have raced in that category all season.
